Boating
1. Pride of Avon, Tewkesbury
Enjoy a trip on the river from Tewkesbury to Twyning and either stop off
for food or lunch on board. Pre-book the Pride of Avon for your group,
alternatively there is a ferry which runs throughout the summer months.
Evening supper cruises are also available for groups of 10+ and can be

Walking & Cycling
Official Cotswolds and Severn Vale Walking and Cycling packs are available
for purchase through the information line. The ‘Made for Walking’
pack contains information, directions and suggestions for 10 of the most
beautiful circular walks in the area. The scenery of the Cotswolds and
Severn Vale can be enjoyed through these walks aimed at all abilities.
The ‘Cycling Companion’ contains 6 marvellous circular cycle
routes in the area, along with suggested places of interest and food /
drink stops.
Guided Walks – if you prefer to be shown the sights
you can choose from a large variety of guided walks. Town heritage trails,
battle trails as well as a whole programme of countryside walks are available
in the area.
Long Distance Walks – The area is rife in beautiful
longer distance routes for the keen walker: The Severn, Cotswold, Gloucestershire,
Wychavon, Windrush, Warden’s, Wysis and Three Choirs routes all
travel through the area.
